Even though I report on the 4Th of December It is a 20 or so hour flight so Ill leave Utah December 3, 2008. It's Exciting!

I found out something cool! For those of you who plan to write me on my mission there is a fast way you can get your mail to me and that is through www.DearElder.com you just go and create an account and while I am in the MTC I will receive it the day you send it. They print it out and hand it to me just like a normal letter. plus its FREE! The difference between this and e-mail is I only get to read my e-mail once per week . I still wont be able to get my mail to everyone else as fast because I am only allowed to E-mail my parents which means mail to everyone else will go through the pouch system.

But wait there is more! It is also free to send me letters while I am in the mission field! Just use dearelder.com I don't know how long it will take me to receive a letter while out in the field though. You will find the MTC under "Argentina MTC" and you will find the mission one under "Uruguay Montevideo West".

For those who enjoy the more personal touch of writing a letter (myself) you can use the pouch system which is the church mailing system. it's safer than using Uruguay's postal services.

I would also Like to let everyone know that my farewell will be held Sunday November 30Th 2008. Church starts at 1:00 but sacrament is at 2:45 try to be there on time! There will be Food and Mingling in the gym after the meeting!

Hope to see everyone there!

Poor Missionaries

Well this week has been pretty eventful when it comes to my friends and family members who are out serving the lord.

Ill start with my best friend Adam:

Adam found out earlier this week or late last week that he would have to return home from his mission with multiple health complications. Before Adam left to Knoxville Tennessee he had to have several colonoscopies because they thought he might have Crohn's Disease something his dad recently found out he had. The tests were negative and they allowed him to go out on his mission but complications persisted and now sadly he has to return home not knowing what’s wrong with him.

Cousin Michael Day:

Michael has had lots of health issues since he arrived in Guatemala He picked up a parasite he was bit by a poisonous spider and he also had something wrong in his intestinal area which doctors didn’t know what it was. However just yesterday the doctors diagnosed him with celiac Disease something the Drummond family has come to know rather well because of Grandma Drummond who also has celiac disease. Hopefully his health will return to normal once he starts to regulate his diet.

The other Adam:

Adam Anderson a friend from high school was set to enter the MTC Wednesday but that morning he woke up with a large lump on his chest. so they ran him up to the hospital to have it checked luckily it was not cancerous or anything but he has to have it removed before he can leave. So Adams mission has been postponed but i know the people of Columbia are looking forward to having him there!

Anyways I am going to post the ways that you will be able to write me when I am in Argentina and in Uruguay next time I get the chance.

Creating a Mission Journal!

This is for anyone who wants to follow some of the things I am doing while I am on my mission. A lot of my family and friends use Blogspot.com and it seems it will work nicely to keep everyone informed as I go on this great adventure. What I plan to do is update this weekly while I am on my mission posting highlights, quotes, and funny moments. However it is not an excuse for people not to write me ha ha!

Well It's short for my first blog ever but its suitable.
